We welcome former MP Dave Sharma as a Partner of SWG Capital
Thrilled to share that Former MP Dave Sharma has joined SWG Capital as a Partner as reported in the Australian Financial Review with Jessica Sier.
A long-time friend of Co-Founders Andrew Silberberg and Jeremy Waine, Dave joins the firm in his recently appointed new position and his first official role since working in politics.
"It might be a tough time to raise capital, but the future opportunities are just as clear as they were 18 months ago.
We’ve long admired Dave’s career and are delighted to welcome him into the firm.
Sharma's extensive networks in Australia and overseas will be used to support business development, access new investors and strategic partners, and provide strategic advice to clients on public policy, regulatory frameworks and geopolitical risk. We feel this new appointment sets SWG Capital apart, offering a new and different skill set not available in many firms and we’re excited for what’s to come.
